This is our page, our blog, and our photos. It’s a glimpse into our lives and the lives of our two dogs. Feel free to try to make sense of our ramblings and rants. Leave comments if you feel you have something to say about the topic.

But enough about the site, now on to who we are. Chase and Katie both are Virginia Tech alumni (so there will be quite a bit of Tech stuff around). Currently Chase is an IT professional working for a small company in the area. Katie graduated last May with her Master’s from a medicinal chemistry graduate program and now works for a local biotech company doing mass spectrometry. We got married June 2008 in Leesburg, VA. We  bought our first house last summer and are quickly learning the joys of home ownership. We’ve owned Gizmo (the black and white shih tzu) since he was six weeks old (he’s 5 years old), and we adopted Teddy (the grey terrier mix) from one of the foster programs near Blacksburg (he’s 6 years old). Kobito is the newest member of the bunch, she’s a Roborovski hamster so full sized is 4-5 cm long (she’s about a year and a half).
