Phew! After my advisor informing me at 8:30 this morning that I needed a copy of my thesis for my defense subsequently followed by my computer’s battery dying (unknown reason), printer jam, printer being schizo, crashing PrimoPDF (twice), then finally converting it to a pdf (my ChemDraw structures didn’t show up) and getting onto another computer connected to a local printer (which only prints 10 pages/min) and nearly having a panic attack I finally showed up for my defense a few minutes late. All went well, I gave my brief synopsis of my research. Which was followed by a round of questions, then a break, then another round of questions. But at the end of it all, everyone enjoyed my thesis and I passed with flying colors.
Now if only I could convice everyone to STOP bugging me to consider getting my PhD. As of right now, I want to be out of school and be a member of society and get some experience.
