You may be wondering where we have been . . .or maybe not.  Either way we have been extremely busy.

Katie has been spending many days and nights working on her thesis.  It’s coming along good, but she has at least another month of writing to do.  On top of that, she has begun looking for a job in the Richmond area.  With the economy the way it is right now,  it isn’t in our best interests to have me leave my job by moving to another area.  In the technology sector alone, 250,000 jobs have been lost in the past 4 months.  I don’t want to fight with all of these people for a minimal amount of positions.  All of that and I like my job.

I, on the other hand, have been working my four 10-hours days per week (M – Th) and then attempting to get things done on Fridays.  It usually involves some project around the apartment, taking the dogs to the vet, taking on of the vehicles in for service, etc.  It is nice to have every Friday off and not fight everyone else trying to get errands done.

Our house search is going to resume as soon as Katie has a job.  Except this time we can increase the price range we are looking in to at least double.  We are definitely excited about the prospect on owning our own home, enough with this renting crap.  As soon as we find something, pictures will be posted.  I promise!

Speaking of pictures, I don’t really have any new ones to upload.  I do plan on posting pictures of the pets (Friday sounds good), even though most of them are really old.  I have been actively seeking a application for my Blackberry to upload directly from that.  I take some funny pictures at time while out.  Hopefully I can find something.
