The Rain. . .It makes thing wet. Really Wet. . .

July 25th, 2008

Wednesday night we had a torrential downpour.  Rain everywhere, coming down hard.  Well, Thursday morning I head out to my truck to leave for work and the windshield is covered with condensation on the inside. I was confused, but thought nothing of it until I opened the door.  Wetness everywhere.  It turns out my sunroof was open, now let me explain why it was open.

There is some issue where the sunroof will begin to close, then bounce back open.  I know of the problem, but it’s hard to reproduce so the dealer can’t do much about it.  I had been doing good checking it to make sure it was closed, but Wednesday night I was distracted by Katie almost getting run over by another car.  So apparently, it opened back up and I didn’t see it.  :(

Anyway, I am now off to vacuum it out really well, clean the leather seats and the dashboard.  Hopefully there will be no mildew that forms or anything.  Don’t want a smelly truck. . .

Rock Band

July 20th, 2008

So for one of our late wedding presents a friend of our’s got us Rock Band. Chase has been having fun banging away at the drums and I’ve gotten significantly better at the guitar. (We have Guitar Hero III also, so we’ve had some guitar experience). Which for me was a good thing. Since I couldn’t get past Lou on easy in Guitar Hero III. But in Rock Band as you go through the World Tour you accumulate fans. After a while to get more fans you have to play on harder levels. It’s not like Guitar Hero III where you can beat it on Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. So today I had to learn the medium level real quick. Still kind of confusing; not only because of the extra button but more because of the chords and having to watch their progression. And the song Here We Go Again by Ok Go is stupidly hard for someone first switching from easy to medium. But anyhoo, it’s been a fun weekend.

We have done it!

I finally figured out the reason why the header was only displaying 2 of the 9 images.  It turns out that the extension on the seven missing images was JPG when the software was looking for jpg.  See the subtle capitalization difference.  Oh well, it is fixed now.

Second thing, I got a watermark placed on all of our images.  I don’t want people stealing them.  Not cool.  Especially since the some of the wedding photos that we paid for are up there.

Speaking of wedding photos, Katie got the wedding photos uploaded and I got the honeymoon pictures up.  Now everyone. . .stop complaining!
