So, while many people have this simple, easy-to-use, feature installed in their vehicles they don’t USE it. (and if you don’t, it’s an easy, quick, and fairly cheap install.) It was driving me crazy last night driving from Richmond to Savannah. In particular this one stupid BMW SUV from NY; it was probably covering a 20 mph difference in speed depending on if they were in front of you and if you were trying to pass them. But we still made good time. We made it to Savannah in about 6 to 6.5 hours. Just a few hours left this morning and we’ll be at Chase’s parent’s house. The one thing I like best about NC is the 70 mph, but it’s better in SC because they have max 70 mph, min 45 mph.
Some of the interesting things we noticed along the way:
- South of the Border signs start as you enter NC
- One of the funniest South of the Border signs read “You never sausage a place (You’re always a weiner at Pedro’s)”
- As do signs to get discount tickets and hotels for Orlando, once you got to the exit it didn’t look like much though
- A house on fire, I feel bad for the family
- And you can’t take pictures in the car at night while you’re moving, the flash interferes and takes way too long
Ok, that’s enough for now.
